Energy Burst Guide and Ranger Camp 2025
What is ENERGY Burst?
It’s our county camp for Ranger, Guides and Young Leaders. We’re passionate about giving girls chance for adventure and sharing the out of doors.
Whether you have never camped with your unit, have some equipment but have never led your own camp, have experience and want to complete your camping module or that you camp and just don’t want to miss the fun – we’ve got you covered.

We are looking forward to welcoming Guide and Ranger units to our event and planning is well under way.
We are now asking for firm bookings with a £25 per participant deposit by 30th April (non-refundable), with the unit’s balance due by 1st June 2025.
Where? Skreens Park, Chelmsford CM1 4NN
When? Friday 18th July until Sunday 20th July 2025
Daytime activities to include free flow between abseiling, climbing, Gladiator (ladder climb), crate stack, kayaking, rafting, tomahawks, archery, STEM and craft activities and many more........
Evening activities are also included.
How much? £50 per Guide/Ranger /Young Leader (including volunteers' dependents aged 4+ although some activities may have a height restriction)
This includes site fees and a full programme of activities -adventurous and less adventurous to suit all tastes. However, food and transport is extra according to unit plans and should be added by units.
Adults are charged £10 per person to cover site fees.
Children 3 and under free.
