The GENE (pronounced genie) radio show is for all supporters of Girlguiding. The show is a mix of all the latest guiding events and news locally and across the county, Anglia region and further. We also chat about topics that are important to Girlguiding members plus fun stuff and great music!
Join our team
We are currently recruiting new presenters and we are looking for people to research the topics for each show as well as promote the shows, record interviews and write articles for the website and newsletter. Applicants must be an existing member of Girlguiding Essex North East.

There will be lots of opportunities for anyone who joins the team, including attending events and launches. This would also be useful experience to progress a career in broadcasting or the media. It can also be used as a skill towards DofE and the Queen's Guide qualifications.
