County Outdoor Training

We’re keen to help you and your units to enjoy the outdoors, learn new skills and to get together to network with like minded volunteers – lead by our enthusiastic trainers and outdoor teams.

Whether you are new to Outdoor activities or would like to improve your confidence and knowledge this is the training for you – there’s something to share with Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers.

From firelighting and outdoor cooking, to rope adventures for all sections, survival skills, map reading, camping and so much more. Meet our county archery team and like minded volunteers. Many of the sessions will link to the programme and will cover basic risk assessments for the activities.

Please note that the training is being held at our county natural campsite and wood and that ground may be uneven.

The training is a legitimate unit expense and can be claimed back from your unit.
