Awards and Recognition
There are a number of ways that we can recognise both our volunteers and the girls in our care.
Volunteer Recognition Awards
Essex North East has an Awards Committee which considers any recommendations that are put forward. A nomination form should be completed and must be made without the knowledge of the nominee or her relatives. The Awards Committee will decide which award is most suitable.
Jack Petchey Awards
Girlguiding Essex North East are proud to be part of the Jack Petchey Award scheme, encouraging young people aged 11 to 25 to work hard and reach their potential.
Young Person Awards
We are very proud of our young members and have a number of awards at county and region level for our young members to recognise exceptional achievements.
Volunteer Long Service Award
Girlguiding wishes to recognise everyone's contribution to guiding. Any adult member who volunteers regularly, regardless of role, gender or age, is eligible for a Long Service Award.
